I was born on 15 February 1965 in Brighton, England. 
After graduating from high school, I studied economics, computer science and applied mathematics at the University of Bern. 

I acquired my extensive know-how in the areas of leadership and strategic management as a research assistant and consultant at the University of Bern from 1991 to 1997. From 1994 to 2008, I taught corporate and marketing strategy at various universities of applied sciences. 

In 1998, I became a Managing Partner of Impact, a measure-oriented management consultancy with subsidiaries in Zurich and Munich. Until 2007, I managed around 80 projects for various clients in Switzerland and abroad. In 2007 I founded Valion AG in Bern and was responsible for more than 100 projects for domestic and foreign clients until 2013. Until 2018, I served as Chairman of the Board of Valion AG. 

In 2013, I joined AMAG Automobil- und Motoren AG as a member of the Group Executive Board and assumed overall responsibility as CIO for the strategy, design and implementation of all ICT matters relating to the AMAG Group. With my extensive expertise in the areas of strategy, change management and IT, I quickly succeeded in realigning AMAG Informatik as the centralized IT service provider of the AMAG Group in terms of both content and organization. In 2016, I was named Top CIO of the Year with the Swiss CIO Award and my department was certified as "vision-led IT". 

In June 2018 I founded Admomentum AG with the aim to share my experience as an executive coach and advisor with various clients.
